msSurv, an R Package for Nonparametric Estimation of Multistate Models
نویسندگان
چکیده
We present an R package, msSurv, to calculate the marginal (that is, not conditional on any covariates) state occupation probabilities, the state entry and exit time distributions, and the marginal integrated transition hazard for a general, possibly non-Markov, multistate system under left-truncation and right censoring. For a Markov model, msSurv also calculates and returns the transition probability matrix between any two states. Dependent censoring is handled via modeling the censoring hazard through observable covariates. Pointwise confidence intervals for the above mentioned quantities are obtained and returned for independent censoring from closed-form variance estimators and for dependent censoring using the bootstrap. Note that this vignette is adapted from the publication on msSurv in the Journal of Statistical Software (Ferguson et al. 2012).

Nonparametric Regression Estimation under Kernel Polynomial Model for Unstructured Data
The nonparametric estimation(NE) of kernel polynomial regression (KPR) model is a powerful tool to visually depict the effect of covariates on response variable, when there exist unstructured and heterogeneous data. In this paper we introduce KPR model that is the mixture of nonparametric regression models with bootstrap algorithm, which is considered in a heterogeneous and unstructured framewo...

The contribution of this book is to collect most recent research of Bayesian nonparametric techniques together, with main emphasis on the use of Dirichlet process. The popularity of Dirichlet process is because that the Dirichlet prior is nonparametric and conjugate, thus presents many opportunities to flexibly model complex data structure. The book incorporates the Bayesian philiosophy into th...
متن کاملgems: An R Package for Simulating from Disease Progression Models.
Mathematical models of disease progression predict disease outcomes and are useful epidemiological tools for planners and evaluators of health interventions. The 𝖱 package gems is a tool that simulates disease progression in patients and predicts the effect of different interventions on patient outcome. Disease progression is represented by a series of events (e.g., diagnosis, treatment and dea...
متن کاملA MODIFICATION ON RIDGE ESTIMATION FOR FUZZY NONPARAMETRIC REGRESSION
This paper deals with ridge estimation of fuzzy nonparametric regression models using triangular fuzzy numbers. This estimation method is obtained by implementing ridge regression learning algorithm in the La- grangian dual space. The distance measure for fuzzy numbers that suggested by Diamond is used and the local linear smoothing technique with the cross- validation procedure for selecting t...
متن کاملeco: R Package for Ecological Inference in 2x2 Tables
eco is a publicly available R package that implements the Bayesian and likelihood methods proposed in Imai, Lu, and Strauss (Forthcominga) for ecological inference in 2×2 tables as well as the method of bounds introduced by (Duncan and Davis, 1953). The package fits both parametric and nonparametric models using either the Expectation-Maximization algorithms (for likelihood models) or the Marko...
